Founded in 1968, the Black Student Union (BSU) at Indiana University–Bloomington is one of the campus’s oldest and most impactful student-led organizations. For over five decades, BSU has served as the central voice, advocate, and home for Black students at IU—honoring our history while building a stronger future for generations to come.
