I'm Daejah, a second-year student from Cleveland, Ohio, currently studying Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. Outside of school, I'm passionate about volunteering for the American Red Cross, where I get to contribute to meaningful humanitarian efforts. Last summer, I had a wonderful experience as a Development Associate Intern at the Village of Healing, which fueled my dedication to community development. I'm also proud to be a part of the University of Cincinnati's Business Fellows program, where I continue to grow both personally and professionally. I strongly believe in the power of making a positive impact, and I'm thrilled about the opportunities that lie ahead in my journey. Through my studies and volunteer work, I hope to play a part in creating a better world for everyone.

My name is Ifeanyi Ezeakudo. I am a second year in the College of Allied Health Sciences. I am a proud Darwin T Turner Scholar, University Honors Student, LA for Biology, and the Co-Academic Chair of MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Med Students). My current goal is to become an orthopedic doctor that specializes in rehabilitation. My hobbies include playing basketball, watching Marvel, and hanging out with friends.

Donovan Allen he/him/his) is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Cincinnati. Donovan is majoring in Political Science with a certificate in Foundations of Cybersecurity. Donovan holds various leadership positions in several campus departments, such as the African-American Cultural and Resource Center and the University Honors Program. Donovan has interests in practicing Family law as well Intellectual Law. Other interests include mentoring the youth, practicing self-care, and advocating for his students at the Learning Commons.

Hello! My name is Christine McDay. I am a third-year studying Advanced Medical Imaging Technology with a certificate in Minority Health at the University of Cincinnati. I am a part of the United Black Student Association and Council for Cultural Leaders. I also serve as a Darwin T. Turner Scholar, mentor, and former ambassador. Some of my hobbies are listening to music, exercising, and trying new foods. While these are great, I do enjoy volunteering, whatever it may be. Soup kitchens, drives, gardening, anything really to support locally.

Nursing Major, Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies Minor 

Anijah is a Senior from Cleveland, OH, majoring in Nursing with a minor in Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies. Here at UC, Anijah continues to embody Black excellence through her membership as a proud Darwin T. Turner Scholar, Cincinnatus Scholar, University Honors Program Scholar, and consistently achieving Dean’s List status. Anijah is a part of various leadership programs, such as being the Director of Women’s Affairs of Student Government, a College of Nursing iLead Mentor, the Vice President of AMBITION, and an Executive Board Member of Sisters Impacting Sisters. Post graduation, Anijah plans to become a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and ultimately aspires to be a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
