Business and Marketing

Hello Everyone I am TaAliyah Pinner. I currently attend Marian University as a rising senior studying Business Marketing. I hold an internship at Republic Airways as a Talent Acquisition Associate in Campus Recruitment. Outside of school I volunteer as a way to help others and impact lives as much as I can. I also have my own photography business that is growing everyday. A mantra that I live by is, “The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. In real belief it is already done for you!” :)

Biology Pre-Med

I’m a 2nd year biology major at Marian University Saint Joesphs College, with a concentration in pre-med. Involved in a earn and learn program I’m blessed to be connected with a internship through school . Currently I’m an intern at Scott Dentistry a local African American dentist on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Working along side Dr. Brooke I’ve been able to learn much about dentistry but also the type of doctor I aspire to be. Joining FBL gives me the opportunity to create more awareness for blacks and browns on PWI campuses.

Hello! My name is LaShanti' Burgess and I'm a Senior at Marian University majoring in Public Health & Sociology with minors in Biology, Business, Criminal Justice and Peace & Justice Studies. I'm a strong woman of God living my life according to His purpose. I consider myself to be a strong advocate and leader for others and hope to be able to use my voice to contribute to the change we so dearly need in our academic systems; as well as our world. This is extremely crucial to me due to my own challenges in my life including systematic racism.
